No Color Charts, DIGITAL aquarium water testing
I love it! It's great not having to guess at matching color charts. This is a 100% digital testing system. For some people the upfront startup cost may seem a little high, but it's cheaper than buying all the individual meters from other brands. Once you are setup the ongoing cost per test is very competitive. There is an additional one-time purchase to activate all the tests for the reagents included in the kit. Purchasing the additional tests is easy using the app from your phone/tablet. I do wish all the tests were included upfront in the kit price. Having just one meter to keep up with and having both printed and video testing instructions available with the touch of a button is awesome! You won't have a bunch of individual meters to store or keep up with, and no tiny little printed instruction booklets for each test that get lost. You will need to readjust your testing routine with this system if your are accustomed to doing all your tests simultaneously with different meters. One meter means you won't have to scramble and catch all the results before they're lost. Every test result is on your phone and easily stored or shared from the app. You can email test results to yourself or others, no notepads, lost results or repeated testing because you weren't paying attention. You can run a series of tests, add NOTES to each test, and save/share the results when finished. After you run through all the tests a couple times it becomes very simple and easy to use. It takes roughly 45-minutes to do every single test on one tank, a lot less if you are not testing Ammonia or Nitrate. ***Helpful hint*** Some tests require both a liquid reagent and test strip (included in the kit). Write the number drops required on each reagent bottle and you won't have to look it up every time you run the test(s).

Absolute Garbage
I was very excited to finally reach the point I was ready to put out such a sum of money just for a test kit however a kit that would be simpler, faster and deliver more accurate results, I mean that is what you would expect with $260 test kit comparing to good Regent test kits such as Red Sea brand at fraction of the cost. I was very disappointed when found out that performing same test multiple times, it is rare it comes back with the same result, variance is not by a decimal or 1 ppm ,but few or even as much as 15 ppm, even though same careful procedure is followed. The final nail to the Coffin was the N03 test, came back with 4 different results: 24, 27, 31 ,38, that is very inconsistent and considering you are testing reef tank where recommended levels are at the decimal , what can you tell from this? It does not stop here, I decided to test N03 with Red Sea Regent test that I bought just couple weeks ago, indeed , undetectable, came back at 0 ppm which is what I was expecting given the care I have been giving the tank. Glad I tested with Red sea as I was about to blame my RO/DI water which was also showing 27 ppm with exact idip, I could not believe the filter cartridges not being that old, I test with Red Sea, sure enough, 0 ppm. Now, one can say maybe I have a bad kit, bad unit etc... However google and check out other forums and see for yourself that there are plenty out there with the same issue. Don't waste your money, buy yourself red sea marine kit ,if you don't test frequently and know what you are doing, you know where your parameters are at.
